The Sentry by Byron KH Siemsen

Can you see Him 'bove the mist

Against the sky with starlight kissed?

His silhouette the hilltops grace

While toward your care He sets His face.

Then you'll see Him in the Morn

When birds start song and sunlight's born

As He His invitation sends

To watch as sunrise darkness mends.

Then when in daylight do you dream

Beside a winding, rushing stream,

You'll look upon that quiet hill

And see Him ever guarding still.
